How Your ARB Exchange Works

An exchange starts with your Arbitrum (ARB) payment and ends with a payout in the cryptocurrency you selected. This guide explains the order stages, the conditions attached to a quote and what to do when a payment does not follow the instructions.

Before You Create an Order

Have access to ARB on Arbitrum One and prepare a receiving address for the asset and network you want. A standard ARB transfer also needs ETH on Arbitrum One for gas, which your sending wallet pays separately.

Check the recipient's deposit minimum and any required tag, memo or comment. Address-format validation helps catch incompatible input, but it cannot establish ownership or guarantee that a hosted platform will credit the payment.

Use the ARB transfer guide if you need to check the source-wallet steps before starting.

From Quote to Wallet Payout

Create the order only when the source wallet and receiving details are ready. No trading account is required; the private order link provides access to your payment instructions and progress.

  1. Choose the receiving asset and, where available, its receiving network.
  2. Enter the ARB amount and select fixed or floating mode. Review the service fee, payout network cost, net receiving amount and applicable payment limits.
  3. Enter the destination address and any required receiving reference. Check the details before creating the order.
  4. Save the private order link. Send the exact requested ARB payment to the deposit address issued for that order, using Arbitrum One.
  5. Follow deposit detection and the required confirmations. Conversion begins once the payment is eligible for execution.
  6. Check the payout transaction after it is sent. Its hash belongs to the receiving blockchain, separately from the hash of your ARB payment.

Choose How the Rate Will Behave

Fixed mode charges a service commission of 0.78% of the sending amount in ARB and reserves the quote for 11 minutes from order creation. The exact deposit must be included on-chain and detected at the order address before expiry.

When detection is timely, waiting for subsequent confirmations alone does not cancel the fixed quote. Floating mode instead charges 0.46% of the ARB amount and uses the rate available when conversion starts after the required deposit confirmations, so its preliminary receiving estimate can change.

A chart rate is reference market data, not an instruction to pay or a guaranteed receiving amount. The form's order calculation applies to your actual amount, route and mode.

Separate Calculation Time from Transfer Time

Under normal route availability, an initial quote targets up to 7 seconds after valid input. That is the calculation stage, before you have funded an order.

Standard processing then targets payout broadcast within 3–12 minutes after the required ARB confirmations. It excludes the initial payment wait, additional review, route interruptions and subsequent receiving-platform crediting; it is not a promise of total settlement within that interval.

Read the Order Status

The normal stages identify which part of the exchange is in progress. A source deposit confirmation and a receiving-platform credit are separate events, even when they appear close together.

StatusMeaning and next check
CreatedThe order exists; inspect its payment details before sending
Awaiting ARBThe service is waiting to detect the requested deposit
Deposit confirmationThe detected payment is waiting for the required source confirmations
ExchangeConversion is in progress
Payout sentThe receiving transaction has been broadcast; inspect its hash
CompletedThe service-side order has finished; a hosted recipient can still have its own crediting requirements

Exception statuses explain why the normal path has paused. Quote expired, payment mismatch, review, route unavailable and refund statuses should be read together with the order's actual payment information.

If the wallet shows a sent transaction but the order is still waiting, compare the asset, network, address and amount before making another transfer. For an uncredited payout, inspect the receiving transaction and the destination's deposit rules first.

If the Payment Does Not Match

Late payment, underpayment or overpayment pauses automatic execution. The order shows the amount actually received and offers a new quote for your agreement or an applicable refund, after deposit confirmation and any necessary review.

Do not send an extra payment merely to guess how to correct the order. Check its instructions or ask support to review the existing deposit first.

A wrong asset, unsupported sending network or incorrect receiving address needs a separate investigation; recovery is not guaranteed. Additional verification can also pause an order under the AML Policy, and the service risk information explains network and third-party boundaries.

When a Refund Is Possible

Before payment, you can leave an order unpaid if you no longer want to proceed. Once it has been funded, cancellation is not guaranteed after execution has started.

For an agreed refund of an unexecuted order, the return is made in ARB after approval and verification of the refund address. The actual return network cost is deducted without a separate service penalty; the target is to broadcast within 24 hours after both approval and address verification.

That target does not include time needed to confirm the original deposit, complete a necessary review or resolve an applicable restriction. A request to refund does not by itself establish that execution can be reversed.

Get Help with a Specific Order

Use the support contacts and include the order ID, payment hash, sending network, receiving asset/network and a short description of the problem. Share the private order link only with the service's support channel, not in a public post.

Never include a seed phrase or private key. The Privacy Policy explains how order and support information is handled.
